As an Author:

Mande Matthews is a #1 international bestselling author of fantasy fiction. She has been featured in notable anthologies with well-known fantasy authors and has over a third of a million books in circulation. Before setting out on the indie publishing path, Matthews optioned two screenplays, one to the Executive Producer of such notable films as The Seventh Sign and Peggy Sue Got Married. She is a member of SFWA and the Los Angeles Poets and Writers Collective, and her short story “For the Love of Wild Things” has recently been nominated for the Small Press Award.

As an Artist:

Matthews is a multi-award-winning artist. Her cover art has been NY Times and USA Today bestsellers. Among other prestigious awards, Matthews took home the 2014 Cover of the Year award at the BTS Red Carpet awards in NOLA, was a finalist for three consecutive years, and won the 2016 Best Cover Contemporary Category.

Ms. Matthews read her gateway fantasy novel, The Sword of Shannara, at thirteen and has since been hooked on all things magical, birthing her life-long quest to create enchanted worlds with both words and images. She strives to bring beauty, love, healing, and light into the world with every creation she embarks upon.
